First ever DAKAR win

Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah drove his “Hilux” to a first ever win for Toyota in the 2019 Dakar. This is actually his 3rd overall win, having won first in a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and then again in a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Proving the old axium - Are you going on Safari? Bring a Qatari.

Frankly the T2 class is more interesting to me since its more closely related to stock vehicles, but the coverage of this class is...poor.

Can I just say thank you for continuing to maintain Oppositeblog. It’s my go-to over Oppositelock now - mainly for the quality of posts, but also because I’m tired of what Oppo has become and can’t be bothered to sift through the shit and mire to get to the good stuff. No way to tell who’s shared what, so I made sure everyone saw this. Honestly, the effort is so minor that I’m happy if just a couple are getting benefit from it. I forget sometimes, too (especially in recent months) , but whenever you see something that’s worthy of more eyeballs, definitely  take a second and drop it in over at OppoBlog. Thanks!

No pressure, but I’m happy to have a few extra pairs of eyes helping out. Hate for anything quality to not get caught. Wish the Jalop editors would use it as a tool, and approach authors there if they’d like to do some contract work for Jalopnik. Maybe I should make it known to the people over at The Drive.
